Welcome!

For each universe, there are many, invisible threads to hold it all together. When the threads are broken, the universe begins to collapse in on itself. To save ourselves, we must find a way to bring the rips to an end and heal the broken dimensions.

This is the Dimensional Rip.

Plot

Long ago, there were creatures called Dimensional Keepers which kept the many different universes or "dimensions" in balance. They would move about in the different worlds and act as protectors for the one they lived in. However, after an unknown disaster cut the species down to only two, they wiped their existence from the memories of all creatures and went to live in the void between the dimensions, watching and keeping balance of all the dimension on their own.

When a young man accidentally found himself between dimensions, he met the two keepers. He befriended them, and for many years, stayed with them. However, one day he betrayed them, killing one and stealing the it's soul in an attempt to gain it's power. The other keeper intervened in an attempt to save it's mate, stopping the man from stealing the entirety of the soul. However, with only half a soul, the keeper was unable to continue living. The man fled from the void, leaving the last remaining keeper to mourn it's loss.

For years, things seemed peaceful, but eventually the keeper overcame it's sadness, instead becoming enraged. It began tearing the dimensions apart, and in doing so, destroying the very things it had protected. The creature once known as a Dimensional Keeper had turned it's back to it's duties and became what is now known as a Dimensional Ripper.

Appearance

HO HUM I STILL LIKE THIS AND IT HAS GRAYSON IN IT BUT WHATEVER

Kelland is slightly shorter than average and skinny, because for most of his life he survived on the bare necessities and nothing else, food-wise. His skin is pale, and his hair is permanently bleached snowy white, save for the tips, which are colored neon green. His eyes match his hair highlights and glow, especially in the dark, and brighten as any particular mood gets more intense. He can usually be found wearing his lab subject uniforms, because he doesn’t see much point in getting new clothes as long as they fit.

Personality

Quiet, reserved, calculating and logical. He is overly protective of Grayson and tends to act irrationally when he sees him threatened. He is fairly calm most of the time, though he is most relaxed around Grayson, as Grayson is around him. He constantly feels a need to argue to defend his point, but will admit he was wrong if he is presented with what he deems valid proof. Even though Grayson feels like he doesn’t help Kelland enough, the opposite is true. Kelland manages to keep his temper more in check when Grayson is around. He has a very low tolerance for people who he deems time-wasting, ignorant or moronic.

History

He was a lab subject in a secret facility where they periodically injected him with a liquid that would make him glow lime green and be able to pass through solid matter. He had been at the lab for as long as he could remember. Because of this, he developed a deep hate and mistrust for doctors in general. The lab was shut down by a secret force working for the government and Kelland, as the only survivor of the ordeal, was sent to an insane asylum for rehabilitation where he met Grayson. Pretty much continued in Grayson’s history. When they came to Hogwarts, for him it was a toss-up between Gryffendor and Ravenclaw, but he was put in Ravenclaw for his love of logic and reasoning, rather than Gryffendor for his irrational rage-driven behaviour that could be misinterpreted as bravery.
