Family Mother: Luoise Volatore Father: Frederico Volatore Siblings: Terence Volatore Other: N/A History Sarafina was born in North America to a normal family of American-Italians. When she was only two her brother mysteriously went missing and was never found. While her parents were mourning their assumed dead son, she was practically ignored. She got whatever she wanted and her parents tried to pretend everything was fine, but they were never the same and never told her the reason why. When she was four she saw a boy outside her window. She didn't know who it was and couldn't see much in the dark of night. Curious, she waited to see if he would come again, and he did. He wore a mask and it scared her a little, but she quickly realized he didn't mean any harm. When she tried to tell her parents they thought it was all in her head. The mysterious boy didn't return for a few months, and she began to think he would never return. However, when he did she was awoken in the night by a peck at her window. She didn't see him at first, only his crow, but then he showed. She was startled and took a moment before greeting him, but he ran away. She was five when he returned. She was awoken by the pecking of a bird at her window, and immediately opened the window and began calling out. She couldn't see the boy, but she knew he was there. The birds always announced his arrival. He showed himself and she greeted him. She introduced herself and asked for his name, but he replied that he didn't have one. She decided that he had to have a name and began calling him, 'Uccello-ragazzo,' or 'Bird-boy,' because of the birds that followed him around and peck at her window. 'Bird-boy' visits every few months, and they speak to each other then. Her parents still believe it's just an imaginary friend, but they are getting worried that there might be something wrong due to how often she refers to her 'imaginary friend' and how she calls out for him whenever she's scared of something. |
