[Marisa Bones] | The Dimensional Rip

Welcome!

For each universe, there are many, invisible threads to hold it all together. When the threads are broken, the universe begins to collapse in on itself. To save ourselves, we must find a way to bring the rips to an end and heal the broken dimensions.

This is the Dimensional Rip.

Plot

Long ago, there were creatures called Dimensional Keepers which kept the many different universes or "dimensions" in balance. They would move about in the different worlds and act as protectors for the one they lived in. However, after an unknown disaster cut the species down to only two, they wiped their existence from the memories of all creatures and went to live in the void between the dimensions, watching and keeping balance of all the dimension on their own.

When a young man accidentally found himself between dimensions, he met the two keepers. He befriended them, and for many years, stayed with them. However, one day he betrayed them, killing one and stealing the it's soul in an attempt to gain it's power. The other keeper intervened in an attempt to save it's mate, stopping the man from stealing the entirety of the soul. However, with only half a soul, the keeper was unable to continue living. The man fled from the void, leaving the last remaining keeper to mourn it's loss.

For years, things seemed peaceful, but eventually the keeper overcame it's sadness, instead becoming enraged. It began tearing the dimensions apart, and in doing so, destroying the very things it had protected. The creature once known as a Dimensional Keeper had turned it's back to it's duties and became what is now known as a Dimensional Ripper.

Personality

Marisa is an adventurous girl. She doesn't fear what death will bring, and believes that life should be lived to the fullest at every moment. While others may think her strange or worse, she doesn't seem to mind. Most of the time she would just ignore those who call her names and insult her. However, she's very protective of her family history, and hates it when people blame her or her Chandelure, Lucifer, for their disappearances.

History

Marisa was born into a rich family. Her father married into the family for their fortune, and cared little about them. When she was young they moved into a mansion in the forest just outside of a town. For some reason, ghost pokemon in the forest were attracted to the mansion soon after they arrived, and began terrorizing the family. When Marisa's mother disappeared one day her father became fearful for his life and left the house and remaining family, leaving her aunt to take care of her and her older brother. Her aunt tried to get rid of the ghost pokemon, but nothing she did worked.

One day, Marisa got lost while playing with her brother in the forest. Her brother went looking for her, but couldn't find her. However, one of the ghost pokemon that was haunting the house, a chandelure, found her and led her back home. Her brother never returned from his search in the forest to look for her. She befriended the chandelure and named it Lucifer. She eventually raised enough money for a pokeball, which she used to catch Lucifer, though it only worked because Lucifer was willing to be caught by her. She hid it from her aunt, though, who she knew would be furious if she found out.

Eventually it was revealed that she had befriended the chandelure, and as expected, her aunt was furious. She tried to take the pokeball away from her and break it, but was tripped by one of the other ghost pokemon just before and, by mere coincidence, fell down a flight of stairs and died.

When the people of the nearby town discovered what had been going on in the mansion and how everyone but Marisa was either dead or missing, they blamed her. The rumor that ghost pokemon were attracted to her and that she had inadvertently killed all of her family members spread rapidly. Despite this and all that had happened, she continued to live in the mansion. The ghost pokemon never bothered her, and she had Lucifer to keep her company.
